Oliver Griffiths

Oliver Griffiths was born and raised in Bristol. He attended Clifton College and whilst there discovered his love for music. He was involved in many choirs, and was able to explore varying styles of song, including musical theatre and madrigal singing. He was a soloist in the chapel and chamber choirs, and through these had many opportunities to travel and sing in some of Europe's finest venues. He was also involved in recording projects including the world premiere of a commissioned work By Graham Fitkin and a series of live broadcasts on BBC Radio 4. He went on to study English and Related literature at the University of York, where he was active in the music department singing with the Zamar Gospel Choir and semi-chorus, the Yorkshire Bach Choir and the University Chamber Choir amongst others. He was involved in the Theatre scene, directing and producing a number of productions and taking lead roles in the University Musical each year he was there. Oliver joined the Swingle Singers in the autumn of 2010.
