Micha Mokrani, NACC Performance Coordinator, got involved in the a cappella community by lending a helping hand at different a cappella shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, after being a loyal audience member former than ten years. A California native, Micha works in the non-profit world at One Circle Foundation. Since the age of seven, Micha has been involved in musical ensembles including choir, orchestra, wind ensemble, marching band, drumline, and jazz ensemble. She has taught both violin and various types of percussion privately, and taught pre-season marching band camps for four years in the South Bay Area. Her involvement in music has fed her passion to make an impact in the live music and a cappella communities. Micha sings in Highwire A Cappella, a Contemporary A Cappella League (CAL) member group, based in the East Bay Area. Micha is part of the National A Cappella Educators Association (AEA) and the National A Cappella Convention team, and the Women’s A Cappella Association (WACA) and SheSings Vocal Festival team, and the Contemporary A Cappella Society and the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) team, where she uses the skillsets she’s gained from her career and her love for vocal music to benefit each organization and festival.
