The GWHS Unaccompanied Minors are the only high school a cappella pop ensemble in the Charleston, WV region. They were formed in 2013 as a co-curricular ensemble. Members of the group represent a diverse cross-section of the GW student body, including athletes, members of JROTC, and honor students. Their musical tastes are also diverse, and they enjoy singing jazz and R&B as much as they do pop. They enjoy traveling to meet other ensembles who sing a cappella. They have been to the Kettering National A Cappella festival for several years, and were selected to perform on the Friday Night Showcase Concert at the 2016 Voices in Harmony Festival in Lexington, KY. This is their first time traveling to the NACC, and they are honored to perform for this audience.
